SB840 (Formerly "SB921, Health Care for All Californians")

The Single Payer Committee of Vote Health is dedicated to the goal of establishing a single payer health care system. Vote Health is an affiliate of Health Care for All California, and the Single Payer Committee is the working body for their efforts in the East Bay. We believe universal, equitable, and cost effective health care is the only solution to our many health care system problems. The committee is currently focused on SB921, a California single payer system proposal now in the California State Legislature. Activities within the committee include outreach, public education, lobbying, speaker training, and local publicity efforts. If you are interested in getting in getting involved please contact Sue Bergman, Director, Health Care for All and Chair, Vote Health Single Payer Committee, 510-540-7085.
